Revolutionizing Energy Synergy

The Integrated Smart GRID Cross-Functional Solutions for Optimized Synergetic Energy Distribution, Utilization, and Storage Technologies (inteGRIDy) emerges as a transformative endeavor, aiming to integrate cutting-edge technologies, solutions, and mechanisms within a scalable cross-functional platform. This platform serves as a nexus connecting energy networks with diverse stakeholders, facilitating the optimal and dynamic operation of the Distribution Grid (DG). The project's overarching goal is to foster stability and coordination among distributed energy resources while enabling collaborative storage schemes, especially in the context of an increasing share of renewables.

Tackling Emission Reduction and Digital Service Development

inteGRIDy confronts the dual challenge of reducing greenhouse gas emissions and accelerating the development of novel digital services in the energy industry. Recognizing the imperative for synergy in expediting the development process and market introduction of these services, the project sets out to revolutionize the energy landscape. The consortium, featuring the active participation of the Digital+Sustainable Innovation Lab among 30 partners, plays a pivotal role in this collaborative effort. SCIL, within the consortium, is entrusted with the responsibility of developing business modelling toolsets. By addressing emission reduction and fostering synergy, inteGRIDy is at the forefront of reshaping the energy industry's digital future. The DSI-Lab, specifically, takes charge of business model innovation, contributing to the demonstration of smart grid solutions across eight pilot sites spanning ten countries.
